June 12, 2004 journal, The Reagan sunset from Washington to the West appears Christian and I hope it is true.  Many Scriptures were recited by the Episcopal Priest and the many Ministers’ presiding and more were recited by Ron Reagan in speaking to the National Religious Broadcasters Association from 1980 to 1988 while he was president of USA.  Perhaps Reagan in his older days began to rely on a psychic for his decisions much like King Solomon began to worship the sun god with his many wives before his royal death.

Ron Reagan was a marvelous man and a good actor, a president we are all proud of for sure, we thought of him as an all-American.  He is said to have planned his own funeral and he did it well by lying in the Rotunda of the capital building in Washington before having his rites recited in the National Cathedral with famous speakers such as Margaret Thatcher.  Then the last plane ride across the U.S. promised land for 3,000 miles to Simi Valley California on the Pacific Ocean with a short detour to dip a wing over his home in Dixon Illinois. Ron lived a full and fruitful life becoming the Commander in Chief of USA. The Reagan funerals were Protestant Christian with the Lord's prayer recited and the 23rd Psalm which reads "The Lord is my shepherd:; I shall not want. 2-He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the till waters. 3-He restoreth my soul: He leadest me in the paths of righteousness for his names sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff: they comfort me.  5-Thou prepareth a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head will oil; my cup runneth over. 6-Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever".  What a beautiful reassurance of God with us.  TBN played reruns of Reagan's speeches before the NRB conventions in Washington and Reagan appeared free to express himself and recited John 3-16 on one occasion "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believe in him should not perish but have eternal life".  What greater evidence of being Christian could there have been.  The final memorial service was on a mountain at the Reagan Library at sunset and this I feel was appropriate.  I was sure moved and touched by the witness of Christ and the manifestation of the Spirit demonstrated to the world by this event.  Occasionally there was the sign of the cross by Catholics as they passed by the casket and off into the sunset including Arnold and Maria. Most likely were Reagan president today we would not be at war in Iraq or Afghanistan. Reagan did have some small military deployments such as in the island of Grenada during his time in the White House.  People felt secure with Reagan much different than Bush. Reagan told a joke to the NRC of 2 men who died and went up to see "St. Peter", a priest and a politician, the priest was given a small room while the politician was given a mansion in heaven.  When asking why, was told that he was the first politician to make it.  Reagan went on to say that there were many good politicians but I do not believe that because they sell their soul long in advance of public office in the form of evil vows to the fraternities in the name of brotherhood.  I do not believe that Reagan had anything to do with the fall of the Berlin wall or the collapse of the Soviet Union. It just happened while he was in. Reagan is credited with ending the Cold War, but there again nothing he did cause it. The 122,000 listings on the Internet under "reagan wars" mentions nothing of his sending U.S. troops to occupy the small Caribbean island at least in the first few pages of those articles. When asked if he was going to retaliate against the Russians for shooting down 747 flight KAL 007, he replied no, “I will let the world judge this action of the Russians”.   I agree.
